9/1/2021 Good afternoon pickleball players! I apologize for sending out another email so soon after the last one but I wanted to share some exciting news in regard to the Foothills Pickleball Association! After our pickleball family had an "official" name I decided to reach out to Pickleball Central ( www.pickleballcentral.com ), an online pickleball retailer, to see about joining their 'Clubs Reward' program. They said they would love to have the Foothills Pickleball Association as a part of their 'Clubs Reward' program at no charge to us! So, what does being a part of this program mean for the FPA and for you? - They created a code for the Foothills Pickleball Association that we can use when purchasing items from their website. The code for the FPA is: CRFoothillsPA - If you use this code when checking out with the items you're purchasing from their website, you will get a 5% discount on your order total (there are a couple of exceptions in which the code may not work such as nets, magazines, gift cards, etc., but it works on almost everything else). - At the end of each year Pickleball Central will determine how much total money was spent using our code. Once they do that they will calculate 5% of that total and in February they will send us a gift card for that amount to use on their website to purchase items for the FPA. - The great thing about the 5% for the FPA is that the person using it doesn't have to be from our area. If you have a pickleball buddy in Florida (that you gave our discount code to) and he/she uses our code to get a discount at Pickleball Central, 5% of his/her purchase will be put into our account and added to that gift card at the end of each year. He/she gets a 5% discount and we get 5% added to the FPA account - a win/win!!! - Pickleball Central is also sending us 250 business cards that will have our code on it so we can hand those out to pickleball players we meet in other areas. If we need more cards in the future they will send us more free of charge. - They are also sending us a 12"x18" Pickleball Central banner with our discount code on it to hang at one of our pickleball facilities. This way players that use that facility can have our code to save them money on their purchases (and add money to the FPA account at Pickleball Central). - All they ask is that you DO NOT post the discount code on coupon websites (ie: RetailMeNot, CouponsCode4U, CouponsFire, etc) or else no credit will be given towards our gift card from the purchases. "It is a private club code not to be shared with the general public." But they did say you can post the code on social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram as long as you also add a link to their website. - I think it's an incredible program that will benefit us individually, and while doing so, will also benefit the Foothills Pickleball Association!!!
