This was a theater with stadium seating and a very large stage. After bringing in 360 cubic yards of dirt, gravel has been put down to level the floor.

Carolina Pickleball Club - Phase 1 Update

Developer Nash Patel is transforming a former Clement Center theater with stadium seating into a major pickleball facility, dubbed the Carolina Pickleball Club. The ambitious project includes converting the theater by leveling the previously sloped floor with dirt and gravel, preparing for a concrete pour.

Phase 1 of the development is extensive. It encompasses 28,000 sq ft dedicated to pickleball courts, a 2,800 sq ft lobby area which includes check-in facilities, a micro-market, and a pro shop. Additionally, there's space allocated for more recreational areas and an exclusive lounge for premium members. Overall, the permanent structures will accommodate 10 permanent courts, complemented by flexible space for large events and an additional space to accommodate 12 mobile pickleball courts.

The project also includes a 6,000 sq ft restaurant space, with plans to partner with a tenant to utilize the space, which includes a large commercial kitchen designed to accommodate around 100-150 guests.
